Engine Repair Technician required to join a leading, global renewable energy company specialising in the transfer of Landfill Gas into Electricity.
This repair role will involve the diagnosis and repair of large capacity diesel and gas engines. Working in a noisy and tight spaced environment, you will be required to carry out on-going maintenance of these specialist Caterpillar, Deutz, Perkins, Ruston and Jenbacher engines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the fault finding, diagnosis and repair on large engines. Engines may include GE Jenbacher, Deutz, MWM, Caterpillar, Wartsila, Perkins and Man so knowledge of these generator sets would be beneficial to the role.
Candidates will need to possess good computer literacy skills and know how to use a Laptop Computer.
Due to the technical skills involved in this role, applications from Mechanical Engineers who have worked in the armed forces with Royal Navy or Army (REME) could be suitable, along with Power Station engineers or larger plant equipment manufacturers.
Any applicant who has worked in an Energy from Waste, Land Fill Gas (LFG) or Anaerobic Digestion, Biogas or Power Station industry may also be suitable for the role.
